Wednesday Prayer Meetings
Every Wednesday, we meet at 7:30pm at the chapel for a Bible study and prayer meeting which is open for anyone to attend. Pastor Gwydion or one of the other leaders will lead the study and then we spend the remainder of our time praying together over various matters. Every first Wednesday of the month we gather in homes—scroll down for more details.
If you’re not used to praying out loud, that’s not a problem. You’re not expected to pray – you can come and listen. We want this meeting to be accessible for mature christians, new christians, skeptics and for those who are intrigued by the Bible.
Prayer is so important to the life of the church. C.H. Spurgeon, the famous 19th century preacher said, “The condition of the church may be very accurately gauged by its prayer meetings. So is the prayer meeting a grace-ometer, and from it we may judge of the amount of divine working among a people. If God be near a church, it must pray. And if He be not there, one of die first tokens of His absence will be a slothfulness in prayer!”
